If you caught the news about a week or so ago, you will be aware that the tanking classes will be seeing the addition of a new ability, Stagger, a 9 – 12 second ability/movement lockdown. Very similar to the ability I acquire once I leave the pub on a Saturday night.

It’s my not so humble opinion, that this new bit of functionality is significant enough, to allow the KotBS speclines to be realigned under 3 different headings.

Okay, this piece of news is not going to be to everyones taste, so you have been warned. Over on the Warhammer Herald, Nate Levy has outlined some of the CC changes incoming for 1.3.2 and beyond. A quick nod to Grimnir for bringing it to my attention on his blog. It does seem to take a while for the guilds Warhammer feed to pick up on the really interesting news. Maybe I should ask Bluesky to set it up, so it rates stuff based on the potential for QQ.

I’ve had a couple of stabs at this particular subject and each time I wasn’t quite convinced I had adopted the correct tack. So I moved my previous attempts to one side and had another go at trying to convey my feelings on this particularly thorny subject.

To put it simply, the CC in Warhammer is irrelevant, it offers no real value to the game, apart from a few amusing situations, when you punt someone off a cliff. Whoopee do. In my eyes it’s the equivalent to a console games version of CC, which trust me, isn’t a compliment. However lets put a nice tick in the game designers box for CC.
