Yep, I’m feeling sorry for myself, after a rather disappointing evening. When you’re playing in Praag, not having a great time and somehow miss a zone flip in Caledor, it pretty much tops off the evening. Of course it doesn’t help that my stomach wants to explode from both ends. So I decide on that high note, I’ll just log. There’s no point in flogging a dead horse.
I still can’t find an add-on, which tells me the state of each active zone in each pairing. I know it’s leeching, but I can’t just stand by and watch 10K+ (for a zone flip) go sailing out the window, without trying to grab a bit of the love.
F’ing annoyed with my internet company (Virgin Media). Still getting minor packet loss and this isn’t scheduled to be fixed until the end of January, when they upgrade the cabinets to handle 100Mbs down, 10Mbs up, which is when I get 5Mbs up for free on my 50Mb down. Still means I am looking at xmas with packet loss, which is potentially still hiding a network management issue with the Warhammer network traffic. Can’t go after that until the lower level technical problem is fixed.
I’d use the 10Mbs up, but I’m really not interested in paying £45 for it. That’s assuming that Virgin can actually roll it out correctly and not shaft their old customers at the same time.
Oh yeah, another bloody birthday today, another day nearer to mental degradation and then death. Ho Bloody Hum.
