UPDATE: The code bnf7yaq9g gives a 20% discount on EA Store purchases.
So you’re all pumped up and ready to go, but go where. You need to acquire your RvR Packs. Now assuming that I’m correct you need to go here first.
Note, that at the moment it is showing 11 items, 10 items first page, 1 item second page. I’m kind of assuming that the new RVR Packs will appear at the top of the first page tomorrow, but you never know with these companies, so keep an eye on the second page. If you’re searching, just try “Warhammer”, “Warhammer Online” brings up entries related to Ultima Online.
The other thing, if you use the bioware forums you may well have created a EAStore account already. Yep, I know it’s a mish mash of related accounts which makes these things all a bit confusing sometimes. So if you are unsure, click the forgotten login option and get it to send you a reset password email. This test will confirm if you’ve already created an account.
Add the items to the basket and confirm your purchase. But stop … before you commit your soul to the devil, you maybe have chance to apply a discount code to your purchase. Now I may have pulled up codes related to the UK, so it may well be worth you searching with the EA Store name yourselves. If you do find a code that works, then post it and save your fellow games a few pounds. We are in a recession, and if the US jobless figures/longterm unemployed are anything to go by, will be for a while. Maybe sales to China will help this time.
Well I’ll be trying the one above tomorrow. Now I’d like to thank one of my other bloggers for the voucher code idea, but I can’t remember who it was, but I thought it would be worth mentioning it again.
Anyway, you make your purchase, apply your voucher code and if all the planets line up you’ll get an email with a RvR pack code contained within, which can then be applied to your Mythic Master Account.
Now I did look on the Warhammer Herald page for a link to the EA Store, but I couldn’t see an obvious one. So hopefully that will be rectified for tomorrow, or the release email will contain the necessary links.
Good luck tomorrow and I hope you don’t get to stressed out about it. You know I always view my fellow gamers as being the most patient bunch of people on the planet!
PS – Any mistakes, let me know and I will correct.
UPDATE – Checked at 00.23 GMT 18/11/10 and no rvr pack information posted on the EA Store.
