First off, here is the Warhammer Herald post.
This will be my first ever PTS session in 2 years, but the changes are worth the effort. Of course I haven’t had the necessary forms signed off by the wife, but fingers crossed. So I’m downloading the data required for the PTS as I type (At this time it’s 392MB). Simple matter of running testpatch.exe in your Warhammer directory.
I’d like to think I’m going to take some screenshots, but since I’m shockingly bad at remembering things like that when I’m in the thick of it, I wouldn’t hold your breath. Best rely on the more level-headed bloggers.
I think it would be really nice to see whats going to be happening and how the mechanics of zone control are going to work. How is the contribution going to be applied, how do you get the max zone flip bonus, is there such a thing as a zone flip bonus? If we have to be within a certain tether of the key individuals/locations, then how far is it? Do the resource collectors have multiple routes to the Warcamp/keep to return their booty? Is the Rat Orge going to be able to punch enough people away, to get the resource runner to the resource hub? So many questions and sooooo little time.
As always thanks to Bootae for making me aware of it, god knows what I would do without him. I’ve a bottle of wine in the fridge, which I’ve been saving for a special occasion, this may be it. Is booze conducive to a PTS session?
