1. Selling gear.
2. Selling services e.g. leveling or gold. Dearest Mythic, is it really that hard to monitor this channel and identify gold sellers. Lets be honest, there’s going to be key phrases that identify the miscreants. That’s assuming you want to? I’d prefer it if this channel didn’t fill up with complete and utter crap, pretty much all of the time. Yes I can turn it off, but I really shouldn’t have to.
If accounts need to be verified before being canceled, then I’m pretty sure the traffic created by these accounts could be sent to /dev/null 2>&1 with the flick of a tick box, while due process is of course carried out. Reporting this kind of junk, shouldn’t require the intervention of your customers.
3. Talking crap or venting your spleen or having a general conversation.
The combination of the above has turned this channel into a waste of space and defeats its purpose. Please feel free to add any other moronic additions I may have missed.
PS – Not sure I know where I stand on guild recruitment.
Trolling about how much MMO “X” is much better then WAR? That’s the one I always see, well before I turned it off 🙂
Damn you’re quick.
That’s what she said! And yeah I was surfing about just after ya updated 🙂
Honestly, I’m just surprised you still have it turned on.
Well I sometimes spend time to give help on it … I know, I’m a crazy fool. Though I will normally pm the person.
Actually, even when turned off, you are still subjected to the indignity of the advice channel when on a warmachine – Mythic, why do I have to listen continuously to the advertisement of gold sellers every time I use a cannon or operate a ram? Do you believe that the roman legions would have bothered taking catapults and ballista along if they were not able to kill a single enemy with them and were subjected to the constant begging of the market vendors while operating the equipment???
What Shadow said … I turned it off the moment I logged in the first day it went live.
