Nearly every Warhammer blogger I’m visiting, is espousing about how much “Phat loot” they’re getting and how they’re enjoying 1.3.5 city sieges. Some of us (ME) haven’t been on for 3 days and I resent having this slapped in my face, like a cold kipper. I’ve decorating responsibilities and I’m very unhappy that my feelings aren’t being considered.
So henceforth I want more of “it’s crap”, “Yawnfest” and “I’ve had more fun pulling nasal hair”.
On a more serious note, it’s really nice to see the positive feedback that I’m seeing. So it’ll be really important for Mythic to capitalise on this upswing to get the message out into more mainstream gaming press.
There’s quite a bit of negative energy out there for Warhammer, which I find rather disappointing, even making allowances for immaturity. Some people really can’t get over the feeling of being personally insulted by Mythic with this game. Even within my own guild, they can’t get over the past.
The beauty of software development is that things can and will change, it’s a natural evolution. Things get dumped and refined in relentlessness that’s only matched by sea bashing the shoreline. There’s an underlying desire for software developers to make things better (Well at the start of a new job).
I’m just glad that all the naysayers out there have led such lives of utter perfection, never doing something wrong, I’m truly truly envious.
Now back to looking for some new door jams, mmmm it’s all fun fun fun in Skars life.
