Given the recent onslaught of new MMO’s onto the general gaming population, I’ve been getting the feeling that Mythic have been battening down the hatches. A kind of PR dead zone appears to exist within Mythic HQ at the moment. How many new articles have you seen? I am hoping it’s a strategic decision and it’s not just because Mythic have got nothing positive to say, because if that’s true we are truly in deep do do.
The way I see it, why try and fight the columns inches being generated by these other titles? Just be patient and bide your time. Do unto others what Blizzard did unto Mythic, though I doubt Mythic have the same calibre of smoking gun, that Blizzard had with WotLK.
If anything were to be put out related to Warhammer, it’s just going to be swallowed up. So the best thing has to be, to ride out the storm.
However, when we reach the end of the first pre paid month for Aion, I’d hope to see some good news on the addon front. It’s going to need some heavy weight features in this first addon, something that’s really going to shake the tree. You know my favourite feature, so no need to repeat it, cough 3rd realm, cough, cough.
Also I’d like to see the arrival of 1.3.2 at roughly the same time. A solid bug free patch would be a great place to start, but a nice new game play hook would be even better.
