Well in just under 6 months, I have written a fraction over 100+ posts. Without a doubt some of them have been poorly written twaddle, but hopefully there has been the odd one which was worthy of comment, if only for the poor spelling and punctuation. I would like to thank Neal Asher for reminding about English versus American dictionaries. I would also like to say to him … yah boo sucks. It’s your job to write and you have an editor. I wonder if the will pick this up in one of his name searches.
I am pleased I have reached this stage and even though it’s only a numerical counter, it’s some kind of yardstick of my progress through the first six months of blogging. It’s been a real slog at times, since writing anything doesn’t come naturally.
I am mildly surprised I have made it this far, since I had some doubts I would make it past xmas 2008, but here I am, still.
I would say that writing a blog is definitely easier when I was fully employed, since I could factor in roughly one piece a day, and I could read a lot more blogs than now. But since the beginning of April I have been the house husband. Now normally that would present a great opportunity to bunk off. However I still have a lot of decorating to do on the new loft conversion, as well as managing my 18 month old daughter. I use the word manage in the broadest sense of the word. If I could handle everything as well as Yeke, I would be upto my 7th level 40.
Anyway, with a bit of luck I will still be here in 6 months time to celebrate my 1st year of warhammer blogging. Hopefully with the rate warhammer blogs have been folding/moving, I will not be turning off the lights, on both the game and the blogging community. I just crossing my fingers that I am not writing/commenting on the same old nonsense in 6 months time.
