The most annoying thing when writing my own blog, is going back and reading something I have previously written and spotting a spelling mistake in the first line. God dam it winds me up. I really try hard to get the spelling and grammar correct, but I have accumulated so many bad habits over the last 40 years, it’s going to take a long time to unravel them all. So to anyone who read my Warhammer Interface blog post, then I am sorry and will try harder. I do sometimes get caught up in the urge to press the publish button.
I go drinking occassionally with an author Neal Asher (Sci Fi author), who basically said you need to read the line backwards, so that you don’t read the context, just the word. The more I try this blogging lark, the more I appreciate what he means. Though he does have an editor Peter Lavery, to save him from to much verbal diarrhea or to guide him when he needs to expand the plot a bit.
In the end, if I improve even a little bit, then hopefully it will have been worthwhile.
Edited: Correcting a spelling mistake, oh the irony.
