This has made a huge difference to my kill rate. It’s now 11 seconds a mob, with the next mob engaged while the Rune of Burning is finishing off it’s cool down. So once again hats off to Zeede again. His next recommendation was to obtain the Rune of Fate, for the 2.5K damage it does. Not suprisingly it’s on a 30 cool down, but it is an instant. This is more for ORvR, but I will use it for an immediate mob kill every 30 seconds. This game does seem to depend on the instant spell alot.
Now Rune of Burning is affected by intelligence, so at level 29 versus a 29 mob, my base damage in healing gear was 229, with PVE gear it was 279 and with my own intelligence buff, it had moved to 289, every second. With the Rune of immolation ticking for about 89/90 every couple of seconds, it’s giving me on a average 320 damage every second.
Most importantly, Rune Of Burning is a focus cast, so don’t move or cast until it has finished. For the first couple of hours I was using it, I was casting a follow up spell within a second or so. I did feel more than alittle foolish.
Things from a PvE point of view have improved alot and if I could put together a good couple of hours at a time, I think I could romp along. Overall moving nicely towards 30, with just under 6 days played.
I wonder if the situation where you can’t access any scenarii in a tier, if your character level is higher than permitted level range for that tier, still persists? To explain, if I was still PvEing in tier 2, but my character level was 21, I wasn’t allowed to access to any scenarii. It was understandable that I couldn’t access the tier 2 scenarii, but I was also denied access to the tier 3 scenarii. I had fallen into a scenario free shadow world.
