So lets hope that it arrives in Europe tomorrow. It would be a tad annoying if we had to wait till Monday. I can’t imagine that GOA would want to annoy their customers any more than they normally do.
But heh I have been wrong before and will be again, I’m sure.
Now with this new influence bar for ORvR contribution, if I was fill it up completely in each tier for each of the racial pairing, then that’s going to be a fair amount of XP. So is this going to be enough XP, that I could stop doing the quests and PQs in 2 racial pairings?
At the moment for instance, I do the PQs and quests in both Dwarf & Empire zones, with scenarios thrown in occassionally, to move skars renown bar along. Well if I can drop one of the pairings, then it means that the higher level content in the dropped pairing can left for my next character. At the moment I am eating through 2 pairings worth of PVE content.
My slow leveling progress can be partly attributed to the fact I am 28 and I am killling mobs in the 25/26 range for the quests I am doing. Well we all know the chronic drop off in XP for mobs lower than yourself. If I can switch to ORvR for and use the xp gained while influence leveling, then maybe that will be enough to cover dropping an entire racial pairing from my leveling process. Honestly I can’t see it making up the shortfall, but it is worth a look.
I spent a little bit more time with the duffbuff addon last night. The problem is that it cannot be fine turned enough. When a healing target is being buffed and debuffed, then there is so much crap on the screen, that it can be hard to find the useful stuff. What it really needs is an ability to have an exclude list. So you can initially see everything, then bit by bit, you can exclude the buffs, debuffs that don’t interest you. The current tuning options are only buffs&debuffs/ debuffs/buffs/none, which are too broad in their coverage. It needs a fine turning facility. So I will be looking up the author and penning a quick email to him tonight.
