Been gone from WAR AOR since late December.

Seems like some balance is returning.

Couple of questions for you. You say:

“Effectively Tier 3 will now offer protection for the lower RRs (Upto RR72) from the almighty RR80+’s, and when you finally get to RR70ish, you get to buy a new armour set which will more adequately protect you from the RR80+’s, that had been previously ravaging your arse. All in preparation for a permanent move into Tier 4.”

Have the RvR Tier entry levels changed? For the life of me, I cannot find a posting stating as such.

Likewise, have you heard of any benefit for returning subscribers?

Aw, the numbers are thinning. I understand how demanding RL can be, so good luck with everything. I really hope you keep your promise and post an occasional post or two to let us know you’re still around (remember that short posts count too). I’m sure people don’t mind reading about other games either.

I think that there will be some new form in Zen-Meditaition..called Warhammer-Online

This games sucks up every bit of optimism since release.. it’s really hard to stay optimistic when you look at what Mythic did and ..announced to do.

You are right that patch 1.4.1 would be good if the game would be working..but as long as some melee dps are harder to kill than a tank, this game will stay broken. And we all know that there are a lot of additional points on that “broken”-list which need to be fixed better sooner than later..

It’s hard to be optimistic with the current outlook for WAR. I didn’t mean it as criticism, it was merely a remark.

I’m not pessimist imo, rather a realist. 1.4.1 would be fine as a patch if the game worked. But it’s quite verilly broken atm. There are tons of things that need fixing and Mythic are either not acknowledging their mistakes and pinpointing the problems or fixing them in a completely wrong way.

As you said, what 1.4.1 did is only a marginal improvement and only for now. And they seem to be taking wrong steps for the future patches (PvE content).

I’ve been rooting for WAR for the past 2 years. I’ve used up all the optimism I had.

That’s irony there.

You can’t be negative all the time and to be honest, it’s a lot harder to create than destroy. If they cock up, I’ll give Mythic a hard time.

1.4.1 was more than a maintance patch. It didn’t add new things, it rejigged things, especially in the RR arena. That’s not maintenance in my eye, it’s more than that.
